hi sue, sorry,its not your lucky day(or mine!) 95% of swallwell is so faint its illegible,this is all i could find henry snaith (or could even be smith) 35 ag labourer not b. durham elizabeth snaith 35 born durham thats it! its quite a large place it has a few townships in it. hopefully someone else might have a copy thats clearer than mine rachie

hi dotty dot, yes i found it.......its a tiny village with a population of only 157. i went through it 3x for you+its quite clear.........sorry she's definately not there rachie

Hi Naomi Could you please try to find John and Jane Cockburn (formerly Oliver) and their family? My g g grandads birth cert says they were in Birtley in 1867 but I can't find them before the 1871 census! Ali x

Hi Naomi, thank you for the kind offer. Could you please find PETER THIRLAWAY, b.1831, Lumley, Durham on the 1841 census please? A far as I know he had a father also named Peter Thirlaway who was born in 1794. Thank you so much. Kirsten

could you please look for, James and wife Ann hopps possibly with son's john abt 1840 william abt 1841although william may not have been born yet looking in area of Coniscliffe durham thank you SORTED, I got a message from Gina that gave me the info from the 1841census thanks again Gina
