Jayne, I'm a bit confused about what you are trying to do - is it finding out which of the two Anns your chap married? As you are on Ancestry, look up your man in 1861 and see when where his wife was born. Then go to 1851 and look up the two possible Anns - they might just be born in different places & different years. Jay

Sorry for getting your hopes up. My brains a bit addled, I've spent 3 hours looking at marriages from 1912 up to 1945 when I finally found it!

Janet, can you explain that to me please? I thought you got the whole caboodle of people who married that place/date and so they would all have the same reference. Oh blimey just seen your last message - I thought I was really onto something new there!!

Jayne Report 14 Mar 2006 15:56

Oh Dear! I got myself muddled. You'll have to start saving up the pennies or see if the parish records for that area are online.

Hi, I'm looking for the marriage of Beriah Baugh. His wife was called Ann and I have 2 options, Ann, Norvell or Ann Amis. Marriage Apr-June quarter 1854, Wellington Sal. Beriah has been misspelt as Boriah (6a, 1387). Can anyone check for me? Many thanks Jayne
