I have hit a brick wall.I have a marriage certificate 1906 with Samuel Watson Higginson father John (deceased) a coal miner.I do know they came from up north.I have Samuel Percy Watsons Higginsons daughters birth cert.I can find no trace of this man.Marriage cert says he was 28 in 1906.Can anyone help? trying to find him anywhere.There is a John as Head with a son Samuel on the census but John is a brush maker and mine is a coal miner.That John was born in Preston 1846. Annie

Yes Zoe thats the one i found.Thought this was the one as Samuels daughter was called Alice so i thought named after her nan.But brushmaker and not coal miner.Still a brushmaker in 1901 so did not change jobs. Annie
