although these are all children of William and Sarah I can't prove they are the same William & Sarah as they are all listed individually, not as a family group - so there could be 2 lots of William & Sarah (Hill, William & Sarah not being un-common names) If they are the same, then the marriage IS before 1837 Try the Records boards to see if anyone has the marriage records for Cumberland pre-1837 Elly

Looking for William and Sarah marriage but Sarah was born 1811 but dont know when she married William Thanks

If Sarah was born about 1811 the chances are she would have married before Registration in 1837 so, I looked her up on the LDS site. Unhappily there are two marriages of Sarah Hetheringtons - one 10 May 1834 in Stanwix Cumberland - but to George Nixon. The other was 20 June 1835 when the bridegroom was Robert Graham.This marriage took place in Wigton, Cumberland. So sorry, can't find a Sarah Hetherington tying the knot with William Hill. Victoria
