Sorry to disappear again, phone call from a mate who natters on a bit LOL Maureen that looks good, I'll check it out!

Thank you very much to eveyone who has helped. The 1871 visitor John Arthur MUST be related somehow to the family Maureen found. And the Frances in that family is my hubby's G G Gran! I'm hoping John can be found in 1881 with his parents.
