I've just started getting really annoying pop-ups and even an attempt to download a file last night (luckily AVAST caught that). I'm not sure if it's because I'm using the UK web address instead of (.)com. Perhaps we should inundate Genes with emails of complaint. Jenny

I'm getting it too. I have AGV, adaware, and something else usually not a problem. On another matter anyone getting emails from strange named people asking for financial support???

I've sent a complaint to GR 'Feedback' and I'll let you know if and when they reply. They'd better get rid of it! Kate.

There is a thread on General Board about this too. Lots of people seem to be getting it, me included. Sharon xx

It just offered me a chance of winning a culture weekend. But it wont close when you click. Ive had to go back and then forward again. May be time for a mass moan to GR like we did last time when we had more flashing lights than Oxford Street at Xmas on here.

I'm getting the pop up too. Why isn't my Norton dealing with it? It seems to work on everything else. Lizzie

Maybe one of my cordwainers could help?? Mind you, they've been dead for over 150 years, so maybe not....????? Only waited 10 years for a kitchen?? You are a novice then? M xxx

I bet GR has sold our names on to these pop up people - 'Here we have a captive audience of nice middle aged, middle class people obviously interested in the arts ........'

Thanks Jess, (I feel guilty here today - as I said to Merry, Im in a 'hanson' mood - luckily no handy cabinets to climb on - but I feel Ive been monopolising the board to take my mind off more pressing probs - apologies) Dear Jess - we have got to the point where we are trying to custom make the boots. Ive now spent £40 having 2 pairs made especially for him in Ireland - back paws - and he refused to wear them and has now - great lump of a creature - grown out of them anyway. Hubby reckons he can produce better ones (perhaps we should ask merry to have a go) because he particularly wants to incorporate a built up bit in the missing paw side. Well its taken him 10 years to get round to doing my kitchen, so Ralph may have a long wait. Mind you, he does care more for Ralph than me so may be ........... Very kind of you to think of me - really is.

If it's that 'Ditch the Diet and Visit London' one, yes, me too, and it is very very annoying. How do you make it go away? I already have the Google toolbar with pop-up blocker included. When it popped up I couldn't click on any of the message boards but had to get here via 'My homepage'. Kate.
