Hi Tom Try cheating!!!!!!! I have learned this as half of mine seem to be missing. Just tried with yours and the pages are there - try searching Good - without the 'e' on the end for the specific quarter ( eg Sept 1917) when the page comes up, at the top of the viewer is the option to go backwards and forwards a page - go forwards to the next page and there is a Margaret Goode on it - don't know if its the right one though!! Good hunting Looby

Hi Tom Bring up one of the other quarters then at the top click on the year. this should then bring up all quarters for that year. click on on you want to view then on letter of alphabet of surname....ie. C for say Carter. Unfortunately it starts from the bi egining of that letter so you will have to trawl thru the pages until you get to the name you want, or..... take a quess at the page number and go from there Jen

Update - have now checked those two missing quarters. Nothing. I know that she was botn abt. 1915 because i have a wedding photo of my great grandparents marriage in 1925 - and the bridesmaid was his sister - and she is only young ( aged 9 - 12 probably.) But now I have checked all the years 1911 - 1920 and it can't be outside of this cos she is not older than 15 and neither is she younger than 5. Guess I;ll have to check all the Good's now.

I have done a search on Family Relatives Q3 1911-1920 inc. I looked for children surname beginning with Good with mothers maiden name beginning with Kerr. Here are the results. As none look remotely like the right person and there are no other children with the Goode Kerr combination, was she the youngest?? Can you be sure she had the same mum as the other siblings? Sorry I missed you all - just being doing some jobs at my Grandmother's. I know that her mother's maiden name was Kerr becuase I have the parents marriage certificate and my grandmother remembered the names of her grandparents. My grandmothr has only one memory of F G G Kerr and that is being chased around the kitchen table when she was six - so abt. 1945. This means that F G G Kerr didn't die - so will be the mother of the Margaret. They only had the two children Thomas Arthur and Margaret. (from what my grandmother has told me)

Just a thought Tom Would Margarets mother have Scottish origins? (Gordon Kerr) If you can't find Margaret maybe the mother went home for a visit and had her there? If all else fails try Scotlands People Jen

Right said Fred Report 13 Apr 2006 14:08
