Yes, I agree with Jess - you cannot take the year from the census record. Apart from the fact that many people are written down with the wrong age, also it is actually more likely that the person will have been born in the year before the one quoted on the census............ If someone is shown on 1901 as being 8 years of age.....that would show as 1893, but they should have been born between 1st April 1892 and 31st March 1893. I don't know what I did???? I only found 7 Handels and none had the right parents, so I tried Davis and there was only one match!! Wierd, I think???? Maybe their is a positive gremlin in my PC? Merry |

have picked out the most unsual name - Gomer- there are164 to choose from! Caradog = 74 Handel = 56 Blodwen = 800+!! Glyn = 265. so, you can see what we are up against! focus on what you can find out - so probably Blodwen, does your dad know when his mother was born or where |
