Im looking for anytime after 1900 really. I know a Patrick Granville Nicholas Connelly was born in Bagillt, Clwyd in 1922 and his father was a Henry Connelly who was a foremand Steel Fixer. Anything on this surname around there at any point would be useful. Thanks, Deborah

Even Flintshire Library and Reference Library which covers the area doesnt have any which is a big surprise......these yearly books are the size of bibles......wonder where they are if they exist at all- havent seen any Gores directories for the area.

I want to know who lived in a house at Pleasant View, Brynmenyn, Bridgend, in 1923/1924. Where would the electoral roll be held? Have emailed the library and its not there. Am desperate, as the lady in question (my gr.grandmother) is not on BMD for any event. Need to check Ive got her name right...even tho Ive got her dughters birth cert and that gives me her name.

where is bridgend, and what library did you contact?

RStar

RStar Report 13 May 2006 11:09

Bridgend is South Wales, I emailed Bridgend library.

The Ego Report 13 May 2006 11:13

I see, brigend has its own records center........ They dont have electoral roles before 1946.....so if they dont have them i would be surprised if anyone else did. However they do have kellys Directory 1920,1923 and 1926. The problem is that she might not be in a trade or head of household. If they have an adres in there it will show head of house only. Another thing-would your rellie have been eligible to vote in 1923?

RStar

RStar Report 13 May 2006 11:14

Yes, her daughter was born 1924 so Im hoping by then she was 18 or over.

The Ego Report 13 May 2006 11:15
