Yes Got it. Why oh why do they do websites with pale turquoise(or pale yellow) and WHITE print. IT is almost impossible to read. M

look to top of your screen-favourites(the word not the badge with the star)-click on that and save it...it saves whatever page you are viewing-you may have to put it in a certain section...depends on whether you ahve others saved....when you want to retrieve them to click onto....you click on the big starred badge,and they appear on the left of your screen

Hi, those type of websites are really useful, I have been using another website which contains all that info and more, via forum and rest of website, I have used it to help others also, www.arewerelated(.)co(.)uk. All these types of sites are really useful to new and not so new researchers. The more the merrier if it means we can get help first online.

Plenty on there for non newbies- the familia site gives people details of where archive resources are,military sites,specialist bmd sites that very few people seem to use,map sites etc for background info ..

http://www.familyrecords(.)co.uk/ remove brackets this site has everything on it - make sure you scroll right down to see all the pictoral links on it- individual bmd sites,library resource details,military stuff,foreign sites,the works......... 95% of the help Ive given out has come from some link on this site......once you explore the different sites fully you'll see just how much is out there at your fingertips.Everyone should have this as a bookmark.
