I know what you mean my Husband has had to take early retirement owing to the stupid Government regs , so we are having to be a bit careful for the first time in years, I dont like it, so used to buying what I like when I like.I love Marks underwear , maybe its because their sizes are a lot bigger than anywhere else, so you can buy size 14 instead of 16s !!!!!!!!!!!!! and pretend you are still slim ????

Sometimes I wish I could just spend without thinking Val. Went on M and S site for some underwear, started off looking at the designer bras and ended up on their own brand, bargain for a tenner lot. My eldest boy has the right idea, live for the moment. He is off to New York tomorrow AGAIN to see his uni friend who works on the radio there. Her dad is a black baptist minister - son has been to one of his weddings and says it was like Blues Brothers. I said to him, do you have to go and spend that money and he said Im doing two job (BB and the other channel), working 12 hour shifts, I deserve to spend some money. And he is quite right. I cant wait to see if he gets the upgrade on the flight that he reckons he can fiddle having read Martin Lewis page.

Oh god, yes, half price wine. And 1200 points on 12 bottles. 1200 points = £48 in 'deals'. Ive now got nearly a £1000 of points for deals - eg holidays, car servicing, etc. I should be on commission shouldnt I? Never got a damn penny from familyrellies but they did give me quite a lot of units when I moaned about the password keep changing. AND Merry, to top that I have found those kitchen units at less than half price that salesman tried to sell them to me. The exact same ones! And Ive found granite worktops for about £2k instead of the £4k he was quoting. I dont know what it is, its quite pleasing actually cos Im so jealous of hubbies genes obviously coming through in that long line of gunsmiths I found him and the picture framers. I was worried I was just going to be another chronic depressive like the Hansons BUT thinking about it, those Hanson guys were forever setting up businesses and the lighterman Hanson swopped his job when he was 50 for a stationery and tobbaconist business (no doubt having stashed a bit of baccy from erm, 'lost cargoes') so perhaps they are the ones that have given me the urge to make savings and look out for bargains.

Hi Val, nope, I was just working out my new business strategies And then bloody Richard Branson kept ringing for my advice.. Old man home yesterday and today - he has popped out to get something - so time on here restricted. Jess, ever tried making fudge - its quite easy and messy - I used to get the kids doing it years back but it would give you unlimited quantities when you really need it.

I think any monies gained should go to the ''buy Jess fudge'' fund - its a good cure for this itchy lurgy!
