On my Gt Nan's Marraige certificate my Gt GT Grandad's name is William James Bassett and he's a Labourer. On her Birth cert he's named as William Bassett and he's a Grocer/ Draper. On the census he's listed as a Grocer/Draper and employs 3 People who also live with him. When My Gt nan got married in 1915 he would of been 78 years old and I feel a bit old to be a Farm Labourer. Could I have the wrong Birth Certificate? But looking on the birth records there is no other match with Fathers names.!!!!!!! Aghh Should I just keep on looking?
