I am still looking for a lost rellie. It is one year today that I started looking for her. Matilda Latham was born abt 1824 in Birmingham to Joseph and Mary, nee Baldwin. By 1833 Joseph had a new wife and family, I presume Mary had died although I have no definate proof of this. My problem is I can find no trace of Matilda in the 1841, or 1851 census. After her birth/christening the next time I can find her is at her wedding to Joseph Lacey at st Martins Birmingham in 1852, I can then trace her upto the 1881 census,Matilda died before the 1891 census. I have tried tracing under different names, different ages etc, but no joy. I don't belive she had any siblings, nor that she left birmingham, I just don't know where to look any suggestions?
