Still not received a marriage certificate that I ordered on 13th June with a despatch date of 28th June. I have e-mailed the GRO and had a reply blaming the postal provider. They said I should receceive it shortly!!! I wish it would hurry up because I think the postman is beginning to think I fancy him. The last few days I've had the front door open ready for him!! There seems to be quite a few of us that were waiting that got them on Saturday or today. Mine we also printed on 30th with a dispatch date of a few days after. Being reasonable I'd leave it two more days and then phone. Being unreasonable I'd phone tomorrow and then crouch in the corner at how nice the people are and how calm they are. :o when I'm going ballistic as I've not had a cup of coffee before phoning *whoops!*

I ordered 2 dispatch date 10th, one arrived on the 7th, no sign of the other yet.

i ordered 2 on the 6th----estimated dispatch 11th-----one came this morning----waiting for the other-------not bad!!

thats a shame Yvonne have you tried putting the details on here ,maybe somebody could help you

Hi Had mine this morning (Despatch date was 26th june!!) Have been out all day and was thrilled when I got home to find 3 envelopes. Ordered 2 death certs out of possible 4 and they are both wrong (will have to put them on certs thread) 1 birth cert also wrong mother has taken me ages to track down this one and thought I had cracked it with the help of a few generous helpers on here Big let down, am feeling very disillusioned Yvonne :-(

Know how you feel! I got the last certificate I ordered last Friday and it was only two days late. I had been looking for my gt.gt.gt.grandfathers first marriage certificate for a very long time now It took me two hours before I opened it. Was it the right one? yes! yes! yes! I'm not ordering anymore for a while as the suspense of waiting for the post and wondering whether I have the right one, is really doing my head in!

Hi Kirstie, Sorry to hear you haven't got yours. Mine arrived on Saturday, estimated despatch date 28.6.06, but there are no details entered by the staff who process the applications, all the boxes on the form are blank. Wish I had saved some of them now, but I am now wondering why? Kind regards Amanda

Kirstie Not got mine- 3 certs - despatch date 30th Rang on Saturday, very helpful gentleman said he would put details back through to query dept asking them to re-order, but he also said I would get a phone call today checking if I had received the, before they send new ones. ordered 3 certificates on 18 june recieved 1 on 3 july 1 on 7 july still waiting for the other one just tried to e.mail cant get through, husband is phoneing tomorrow for me cheers maureen

I ordered 3 on 23 June with estimated date of despatch 4th July. Strange that all 3 certs are dated 30th June - paperwork enclosed says post 4th July. Got two on Saturday and one today. Maureen

Kirstie. I recieved my outstanding 2 certificates on Friday. Recieved an email answer this morning to my whinge sent last Wednesday to GRO about late arrival confirming they had been processed etc etc Sue

hi guys is there anybody left out there at all that STILL hasn't received the certs that should have been sent on the 27/28/29 of june just got back from work convinced they would be waiting for me and nothing i have sent an email to gro on thursday still haven't had a reply from them i am getting really really fed up now its doing my head in, i have paid for them and want them NOW!!!!!! gone back in my corner sulking kirstiexx
