Hi Yvonne, Amelia`s mother and father, I think were married in Bristol, as that is where he came from and the eldest son, also Henry was born there in 1814. The three subsequent children I have managed to trace were all born in the Poplar/Bromley areas. As Henry senior is listed as a mariner/shipwright, the London docks seems to be the place he would head for to get work William was born in 1823 in Poplar....Medora in Bromley in 1829 and Amelia in Poplar in 1835.
