Bernard As Brenda isnt around at the mo - You may have Google on your browser bar - on my pooter it is at the top left hand corner, just under the address bar. If you dont have an obvious Google link on your computer, then open your search button at the very top of your screen and type in Google. It should be the first address that comes up on the hits. When you get into the google site, type the name of the person into the search box and hopefully something will come up. OC

Hi, I've been looking for the last half hour but unfortunately can't find anything for you as yet. Just didn't want you to feel as though you were being ignored. I agree Brenda, I've found loads of stuff by googling. May have to go soon (oh is tutting), but hopefully some brighter person than me can help, lol. Good luck in your search, and sorry I was no use. Presumably the Irish have Electoral Rolls.............why don't you contact the main library in Dublin, and ask if they hold them? Reg

Bernard, try finding out the nearest church, I don't know Dublin, or Ireland at all, so don't know if it would be a Catholic or Protestant area. Put the address on Multimap and see if there are any churches nearby. Parish Priests can be very helpful if it is not something confidential you are looking for. So just say you are trying to find an 'old family friend', if the priest prefers not to give you an address, he may agree to pass on a letter. If he is young, or new he may simply ask around locally for you and see if anyone in the area remembers her. Usually people love to help, so good luck. Eileen
