Vanessa, Have you tried the 'Brits in South America' website and database? URL is http://www.bisa.btinternet.co.uk/ I'm trying to find out what happened to my British ancestors who went to live in Chile in the late 19th Century, but like you, am not really sure where to start looking. am currently looking for the chilean branch of my family but have hit a dead end, dont know where to start - cant even find any web pages that would help. Any help would be appreciated |
