OK so Arthur Benton married Sarah Ellen Hill 1865 Jul-Aug-Sep Sheffield Did Sarah Ellen have any Sisters ? Nope looks like Robert Widdows married Mary Ann Platt 1871 Jul-Aug-Sep Oldham

Hi Bacardi Just had a look at the image, and there are a couple of points to note. 1. the \\ marks of the census taker are clearly between the Widdows and Benton names. 2. They are down as living at 2 separate addresses the Widdows at 183 Shirebrook Road the Bentons next door @ 185. This doesnt explain why Jane E Benton is down as Daughter though ???? However Robert Widdows occupation is 'Minister Free Church of England' - maybe he just took them all in ? HTH .. Paul
