UPDATE. Got the marriage between William T.Leach and Lilian Kenney. Also Lillian Kenneys birth from Darlington1924. SAME FATHER!...yesssss. When looking for her birth,I checked all quarters in all 10 years either side of 1924. Only found one Lillian Kenney. The Lillian from Darlington! Still cant find anything about 'May Lily kenney' though. Only that one born 1910. But thats the name on William T. Leach birth cert as his Mother.... Mother born 1910 and son born 1922?....I doubt it! Ho hum! ...... Oh neally forgot...William T.Leach WAS married before. Previous marriage dissolved it said on marriage cert to Lillian. ....and I think I found the baby that died too aged 0 named Phillip aahhhh. This friend and his family are SO excited at all this info as his Mum died in a house fire when he was only 9 and all photos and legal docs were lost too. He diddnt even know his Mums birthday! I have found out that William T Leach was married before to a Kathleen Streeter (waiting for the cert 1943) Having found this info, prompted the 3 brothers to remember that they heard of a son that had died before his marriage to their mother! I remember finding a death of a female aged '0' while i was searching for something else! ....I wish I had saved it!....DOH! Lesson learnt...... Learn by my mistakes...save ANYTHING that you have a hunch about.....

I'm a bit confused about Mary/Lily's death (age 41 in 1965) as she would be too young for the marriage - or have I lost the plot? Is that definately the right death for her? Selena

hey you'v been busy! Some good possibles there girls...thanks. My friend says his grandmothers name was May Lily Leach nee Kenney. Think I'll have to wait for that last marriage cert.... Very tempted to send for that birth too! Mary Lilian 1902....nah! better wait....lol

Could be Selena, there are quite a few. Order the marriage you will have the fathers name to cross reference with the 1901 census, which will give you an indication of birth year.

You dont know for sure that was her name though? or do you? Have you got the birth certificate, or just the reference to it?
