Yes I also was looking at this Sarah Ann Hodgson who got married to a John dinsdale in bradford in 1984. I am sure this is the mother of florrie as Sarah ann Hodgson died in 1898 and there is no Sarah Ann Dinsdale living there in 1901

yeah thanks I have gone through all the censuses for John Dinsdale. I think the best thing to do would be ask her daughter when she comes for dinner tomorrow and if she is no help then I will take a gamble a buy the birth certificate of the florence dinsdale you mentioned and see if the names of her mother and father add up on birth certificate. I am pretty certain that the Florrie Dinsdale family from the 1901 census is that of my mums nan. The witness on the certificate I have of there wedding in 1919 is Gordon Dinsdale and Gordon Dinsdale is the brother of Florrie in the census. Also it says on certificate that Florries dad was called John Dinsdale which also is the same in the census. Thank you all for all your help

also if you have access to Florrie Dinsdale 1901 census household record the actual image with the name florrie is very hard to tell if its florrie or florence

I am thinking it could be florence because my mother said she was called that. I cannot find a Florence Dinsdale in the 1901 census but there is a Florrie Dinsdale maybe whoever uploaded to internet misinterpreted it and wrote it down wrong as I cant tell what her name is on her wedding certificate. On the other hand there is a Florrence Dinsdale who died in 1896 but it says she was born about 1895 so I just dont know

I think Keith could be right. If you google for Genuki Saltaire, the resulting page is for Bradford, so Saltaire will be either part of Bradford or very near to Bradford. Dianne xx

Hi Ryan, where did you get the DOB from? Was it the census? If so, the year of birth could be wrong and it could be 1891. If so have you thought of Florence?
