Hi all, My surname in Salford (manchester) is PRIESTMAN. My g grandfather was born in Broughton Road. WOuld anyone know this area? He was born born out of wedlock (no father on b cert) and as far as I can make out he never lived with his mother (Mary Emma). Was wondering how I could find out what kind of establishment 31 Broughton Road was at that time?!?!? Many thanks Clare x |

Hi I am looking for a James and Mary ROBINSON(nee COLDWELL) living in Wilson Street, Ardwick, Manchester in 1889. They had a son called Charles born in that year. They were both originally from Yorkshire. Mary was the second wife. They moved to Wallasey by 1901. James had been married before to an Elizabeth and lived in Raby, Cheshire. They had a son Tom but this is family information and could be untrue. Anyone recognise the names? Diana |

Hi I'm looking for Eccles, especially in North Manchester and Newtown. Beaver, Orrell, Arnold and Fitzpatrick, Featherstone and Ollerenshaw. Mostly in the 1800s. Eccles may be earlier in Over Darwen. The name Christopher Eccles runs strongly through the family. Diane |
