Can anyone help me find the marriage between Henry Perring born aprox 1864 and Eliza Laker born aprox 1867. They say they are married on the 1901 Census, their daughters birth cert says they are married, but I cannot find a marriage anywhere. First child was born in 1892. Help would really be appreciated. Thank you Gina

Hi Gina, Have looked, but can only find a marriage for Henry Perring to Eliza Goodhew in oct qtr 1886 in Hollingbourne, Kent. Could Eliza have been married before?

I thought that, and looked for a laker to goodhew and couldnt find anything either.

1901 Census Boxley Kent Benjamin Goodhew 64 Head Jane Goodhew 67 Annie M Naylor 7 Eliza Perring 40 Daughter George W Perring 3 Harry B Perring 10 Henry Perring 43 Son-in-law this looks like the Perring/ Goodhew marriage. So you are still looking for your Perring/Laker marriage...... Val

Hi you mention that their daughter's birth certificate shows them as married, but they seem to only have boys on the 1901. What was the daughter's name? Val

MM not sure about that one, daughter Elsie Louisa May Perring, born 1906, Hares Marsh, Bethnal Green. Father Henry Perring Railway Plate Layer, Mother Eliza Perring formerly Laker. Going to work now, will have another look at the Perring/Goddhew connection laters Thanks for that Gina
