Scarlet, I think of lot of people feel mixed emotions, she has to come to terms with all this now, and take it one step at a time. Victoria, You have done a great job finding her, but now you have to take a step back and just support your mother, with what steps she wishes to take next. thats great news im so pleased for you all enjoy your time getting to know your new family,im off to see family members for easter who i found 4yrs ago ad things still going well with some of them,but not so good with others.but we cant get on with every one can we hugs bacardi xxx |

as you can imagine she is a little bit upset but also glad she has spoke to her sister on the phone just now and she told her that she would like to meet her but to take one step at a time as it is a lot to take in |

I think you are lucky - with hindsight, that she knew about your mother - she could have been devestated to learn that perhaps her mother had 'played away ' or something similar what does your mother make of all this? |

i know that i was taking achance but as i said in my last mess i had nothing to lose i am not being big headed over this i just thought that if she wants to make contact then that is her choice my life will still be the same |

i cant belive it i have just had a phone call from my mums sister she knew about my mum being adopted , she said that all the brothers and sisters are alive and well also that my mums real birth mother is still alive . she also said that all the brothers and sisters and the mum want to meet my mum and her family i cant belive it i have not stopped crying will update you with more info when i get it . thank you to shirley and stella without their help this would not be happeningxxxxxxxxx |
