there's an excellent explanation on a thread called 'Second cousins, third cousins....' -type Cousins into the query box and you'll see it in the list, nudged it for you |

I have been sent photo's of some of my Grandmother's cousins.What i am having difficulty with, is placing people in genealogy terms.i e .Can anyone explain to me what relation they would be to me.? In fact i have never fully understood the twice removed etc. Many thanks Susan. |
