Internet Access On Ancestry

I think the only way to overcome it will be to change suppliers. My orange broadband has been hopeless lately. It works ok for a while, but when it plays up, it plays up!!

I sometimes have the same problem. You are not with orange broadband, are you, that's who I tend to blame. If I disconnected the broadband and reconnect again it sometimes cures the problem, but not always.

Does anyone else have this problem I wonder? I am running Family Tree Maker while connected to the Internet. I click on the web search button to look for sources on a particular person and it says that I am NOT connected to the Internet or am behind a Firewall. I have checked my Firewall settings and have allowed Ancestry access so what is going on?
