Have just put message on Cousin Connect --just found that site --so fingers crossed. I e- mailed someone recently who`s name I found somewhere --can`t remember where and she said she put her querry on several years ago . This woman is a mystery from her birth to marriage !!!--after that we know all about her, Ros

Maybe I suggested that before? ... :-) One day, someone may be browsing and think I can answer that and send a message ... you never know. Does it sound unbelievable? Well, a few years after I posted messages about part of my Irish ancestral family, someone, who had remembered my posting, came across a name of mine in the LDS civil registrations of births and sent a message to me! It made my day!!

Have you tried subscribing (free) to the rootsweb mailing list for that area? The 1901 is searchable by address so someone on there may be able to have a look.

I `ve been trying to trace my greatgrandmother`s life --don`t know her birth , have her marriage , death , childrens names. Her address at her marriage is Summerhill , Killiney which is now a hotel--have written to them and they gave me the history from early 1900 but she worked there in 1895.Have e- mailed to valuations dept --no reply, written to various genealogical societies in Ireland enclosing sae --no reply. Is it just that the Irish take their time? If I could see the Irish 1901 census it may give me her birth place--HELP with any tips please thanks, Ros
