Hi Lea This might be of help. Just put Lanark County Cemeteries into google and then click on the Rootsweb website. Lots to go through if you are interested. Julie |

Hey Depends on the time period. Try getting in touch with the local council or the main library in the area one or the other will do doubt hold some records. If its before 1855 you are more likely to find Monumental Inscriptions rather than burial records. MI's are transcriptions of what is on a grave stone/lair/plaque. Try gettin in touch with the local family history society who will have most likely written them down and published a booklet. Also try 'googling' eg Lanarkshire MI's as there is a lot of information out there. Hope that helps Mhairi |

Hi Lea, have you looked on Scotlandspeople or the IGI on familysearch, you might have some luck there. If by chance your rellies died in Fife I have the Fife death index. david |

Hi, I have got several members of my family tree who were born and who have died whilst living in lanarkshire. I have obtained their records from scotlands people, and I was wondering how do I find out where they are buried? Thanks for any help, Regards, Leanne |
