Kate,Jodi and Kath thank you for your replies, I think it must be that the arrows only apply to the messages since the revamp as I know I have replied and been replied to by everyone before then.It was just confusing me ,[it doesn't take much these ] and I thought I'd better make sure. Thanks Daisy |

Envelopes in your INBOX are closed if you haven't read them, open if you have read them and have an arrow pointing right if you've replied to them. Envelopes in your SENT MESSAGES stay closed when you've sent them and are open and have an arrow pointing right when someone has replied to you. At least that is how all of mine are. Kath. x |

I thought, that the opened envelopes in the inbox, meant, that you'd read them. The ones in the sent box, from what I can tell, stay closed, until replied to, which is when you get the arrow come up. If you've had replies to all the messages sent, but don't have the arrows on them, then maybe the people who replied didnt hit the reply button on their end, but perhaps went through the contacts page to reply. (This is just a guess). Or maybe its just GR's 'improvements' not working (for a change!!) |

I think the arrows on the envelopes mean someone has sent you a message and you have replied to them. |

Apologies for what may seem a silly question and might already have been answered. In my Inbox there are green envelopes, all opened ,does this mean they have been sent or read, one opened envelope has a black arrow pointing to the right, what does this mean? In my Sent box all the green envelopes are unopened what does this mean? and there is just one that is opened with a black arrow pointing to the right ? I know I have replied to all the messages in the inbox and had replies from all the ones I have in the sent box. Probably a really easy answer which I should be able to work out but can't. Daisy |
