If you know enough info you could try getting in touch with the GROS, they will do a look up over a 5 year period and either send you a cert or a transcription. Or http://scotfamtree.11.forumer*com They will do lookups for you at a very reasonable price. They are also a very helpful, happy bunch of people with a load of knowledge on everything Scottish and i would recommend you joining up just for the advice if you have scottish rellies. Mhairi

I think I've seen it said on the boards in the past, that more recent BMD's for Scotland are not on line. Kath. x

Are these on line anywhere? I tried Scotlands People but they seem to stop way before the date I need. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Sheila
