Yes, Betty, according to genealogy etiquette, and GR T & C, names of living people should be hidden. Have done a special thread with your name in the title - on the general board! .... :-) |

Hi Joy AKA MM, Why have you changed your name then?? I have two people on GR who are related to me but they have my whole family on their details, are they ment to hide living people.? Betty |

If you go into 'my account details' on the left hand side of the screen, there is a 'hide living relatives' option, about half way down the page. Just select 'yes' and your done! |

Hi Jodi, Thanks for the information now I can put living rellies on my tree but HOW do I ask this person who has me and my family on their tree to change it. Betty |

Betty - in My account details, on the left hand side of the screen, in your personal details, you can click on yes next to hide living relations, then click on save. (AKA M M) |

I haven't entered anyone living on my tree but someone has my name on their tree!! Betty |
