No idea really, but could he have come across to stay with grandparents or some other relative and then they died, so there was no one to look after him. Kath. x |

Hi I have a relative Samuel W Hearnden who was born in Indiana USA in 1857, the 1871 census has him living in New Orphange Houses, Clifton, Gloucesershire England, but the thing is his parents and siblings are all still listed as living in the USA census even upto 1910, any ideas why he would have ended up here at all Vaughny x |
