thank you all for you replys his name is archibald e goodall he was born in edmonton london 1898 he was in the first world war i think in the royal engineers ww2 he joined the airforce and was surpossed to be killed in egypt thats all i have thanks frances

There are, of course, cases where the name is not recorded by CWGC because of some oversight etc, but quite often the name is there but with the wrong spelling etc. Perhaps you could put the name on this thread so that anyone with any ideas could take a look? Denis

Do you know his home town? You may find a reference to his death in his local paper.

My great grandfather died in WW1 in France and I have his English death certificate. I found it on findmypast as Reg suggested. Susan

If he died in Egypt, the death should be on the overseas section of findmypast Reg

could some kind person answer a question for me if some one in the second world war died in egypt possibly he was in the air force ground staff would his death cert be in england, hes not on the cwgc site been there. thanks fran
