Well!!!!!!!!!! Marriage cert arrived today Ethel Maud Barton shows as being 21yrs old in 1912, this makes her dob as 1881 but i know she was born in 1883, she obviously lied for her wedding and added 2 yrs on her father is shown as James George Barton and they are shown to live in Pembrey i still cannot find any information for her on any of the 1901 census' or for her father James George Barton (dob unknown) anyone have any ideas? stephanie

I have found a lot of problems with the Ancestry index for the 1901 census and have been unable to find several names. Try looking on the original , now the GR, 1901 census index as this has far less errors and omissions to see if you can find then on there. The underlying census pages are of course identical, but the two indices are totally different. You don't need credits to search. If something does come up then sometimes the search gives enough info on location etc to go back to Ancestry.
