Actually I think you only need findmypast for the address search facility, the overseas bmd section, passenger lists. and the 10 free searches of living relatives! All the censuses are on ancestry, so why have two subs to access some of those censuses? Although, I have found the 1841 sometimes easier on findmypast!! I take 3 month memberships in findmypast as and when I need it. |

The censuses available on findmypast are those quoted. They do not have 1851, 1881 or 1901. They do, however, offer an address search facility for those censuses which they have. The overseas BMD section is on findmypast, but not on Ancestry Reg |

wouldn't have thought so Maureen, but before you decide, log onto both, see what you can look at and then see what the differences are. Looby |

Last year i took advantage of a 'special offer' and for 50.00 i have been able to trawl all through what was 1837(.)com looking for people that i only had a rough idea of BMD. This is now up for renewal and i am told that for 89.00 i can also look at census. Does this make it a better proposition than Ancestry that i also belong to at the moment? Maureen |
