I now have a reply see below. On Sunday 1st April I sent an email enquirey to the Bucks archives asking if they had certain records for 1912/13 for two Baptist churches from the same town and if so could they advise me of the cost to have a search done. I have previously emailed one of the churches and was advised that the records where held in county archives in Aylesbury and the other church is listed on their website. My question is how long should I expect to wait before I get an acknowledgement of my email?

I realise that Easter makes things take longer but don't want to send another email yet if it would normally takes a fews weeks for a reply to this type of enquirey.

The Centre for Buckinghamshire Studies has a website which might tell you if the records you are looking for are there. The website address is www.buckscc.gov.uk/archives

I have received a reply from Bucks Archives and while they have some church records they do not have parishioner lists or the cradle rolls. So even though my first reponse from the Church sent me to the archives I have emailed them again asking if they could check with their historian as to where the records might be.
