Hi............I have seen a few people refer to 'Nudge' in the messages. Would some one please tell me what it actually means? And what you do with it? Thanks. Sylvia (Perth WA) |

If you see a message which interests you and which you want to find again (perhaps for further action or reference), you can add a reply saying 'nudge'. This brings the message up to the top and also means that you can find it easily by going into 'see my threads'. It's a reminder for yourself. Hope this explains it OK. |

when you reply to a thread it puts it back up to the top of the board again. If you want a thread to go back to the top again say because its dropping of the first page and you want it still to be seen, you can' Nudge' it , which just means you type any sort of reply ,usually saying the word nudge, and the thread will be back at the top again. Remember to use 'View my threads only' later. Click on that and it shows all the threads you have contributed to. You can click on the thread of interest - it will show just your contribution. Then you click on 'see all replies' (or similar wording) and you will see everyone's contributions to that thread. Very useful if the thread has disappeared from the first page - you don't have to go hunting! |
