have a welsh marriage certificate with a date of April 1st 1891. This is causing me a few problems as of course census was carried out on 5th April. I was wondering has anyone come across inaccuracies in the marriage dates?

Sorry to be thick, but I don't understand the problem? What is the connection between a marriage date and the census date? Why do you think the marriage date is wrong? OC

Also puzzled especially as this is the second thread asking the same question

The confusion seems to be that the Groom who married on 1st April is showing as being at home with his parents on the census on 5th April - no sign of his wife. Sam x
