Gerry If you go to the Records Office board, there are people on there who will do look-ups for you. Happy hunting Chris |

I'm trying to find any records that may help me trace what happened to my Great Grandfather when he left England in 1912 with his wife and daughter and they went to Australia, landing in Freemantle in mid March of that year. I have found the voyage record for their outward journey, but I gather that once they arrived there, my Gread Grandfather and his wife and daughter separated. I was hoping to find a way of seeing if I could trace any BMD records for any of them. I gather from an old letter that she remarried and moved to China, although not sure if this is the case or just some story my late Grandmother concocted for the war office. I know not everyone told the truth in official documents in those days. Any help re Australian records would be most appreciated. |
