I cannot find a birth registration for my grandfather , his parents, presumably his adoptive parents, had been married for 11 years before he arrived so I suspect he was adopted. He was born circa 1907 so no formal adoption register exists, as I understand it. I have no idea where to go with this and any help would be most appreciated.
