I have found my ancestors in the index of Divorces and Matrimonial Causes for 1897. The petitioner's name comes first, followed by the spouse. Between the two names are the initials V.H. Presumably the V stands for versus, but does anyone know what the H means? It's driving me mad! Help! Mog |

Jist looked at MY divorce papers - between our two names it says 'V.S' which I assume means versus. OC |
