Hi Ann, my f-i-l was from Roscommon and I do suggest the Leitrim-Roscommon site as being my favourite. Having said that, the families were such huge sizes it's hard to keep track of them all. We went-a-graveyard-visiting a couple of years back with one of hubby's (many) cousins and because they had all been very poor there were no headstones at all and if Cousin hadn't known who was buried where we wouldn't have been any the wiser. The IGI has been quite helpful but you can't beat family assistance and their recollections, or a very tame priest. Good luck! Where are your family from?
