please had cert this morning and its really put the spanner in the works i understood that my mother was 18 when she had me found out today she was 21 so all the leads i had are wrong mothers name shelia alice voilet grandfathers name alfred adolphus bullock not arthur as i thought dont know which way to go now |

You don't say what year your mother was born Bridget - it will help when looking through the birth indexes - also an idea of which county she was from would be useful. |

I can find a Sheila A V registered the first quarter of 1934 in the West Bromwich area - that's on the full images. Also Alfred Adolphus is on the birth index in 1903 also West Brom. If the Sheila seems right I'd send for the cert. |

Bridget Don't understand why you are nudging this - you need to get the birth cert for Sheila, and if her father is Adolphus on that, then get his cert too. Or is it some other information you want? OC |

Bridget If you look at the image on Ancestry, mother's maiden name should be on there. OC |
