Corresponded with support at ancestry, but they weren't able to help me much - just suggested it was likely to be a firewall issue on my pc - yet it was working fine yesterday morning - nothings changed on my PC that I know of and I can view everything else on the website, except the family trees. Have turned firewall off and accepted all cookies etc....still no good, so I don't think it's my PC otherwise I'd have more problems on other websites too I'm sure. Now I can't log on to either the UK or the US website - so I'm off to watch telly instead and perhaps have some chocolate to make me feel better.....hope tomorrow will bring good news. |

I've found Ancestry to be really slow the last couple of days....hopefully it will sort itself out really soon! Karen |

Interesting! Have logged on via the american ancestry.com site and can now view my tree - so looks like it's a UK link that's the problem. |

Mmmn yes, I've had it come up before when they're doing maintenance - usually a picture of a boy and message to 'check back soon', but this is different, it's just like when a website has gone down altogether, except it's only the 'my ancestry' section where the family trees are and it's been like this for the last 15 hours so I wondered whether it was just me or if anyone else had the same problem. If others can't access that part of the website then I know it isn't anything to do with my computer settings and most likely the website itself that's the problem. I've now got 'errors on page' on this site too... |

Michelle, just try again later - ancestry often go off line if they are adding info etc. |

Is anyone having problems viewing family trees online at ancestry.co.uk? I can't access my own tree, nor anyone else's - just keep getting page cannot be displayed - it worked ok yesterday morning, but started playing up in the evening and still not right this morning. All other pages seem to work for searching etc. |
