Hi, just asking for help in finding a Henrietta Baker born c. 1862. Marriage Cert to Herbert William Payne in 1891 shows her as 29 yrs old. Marriage in Birmingham. Youngest child born 1900. Have searched JAJO Quarters from 1900 to 1909 inclusive. Have her on 1901 census, but can't find any earlier. Thanks UPDATE: Sorry, looking for death when I wrote the above message!

Hi all, sorry, just come on line. Yes Reg she was a spinster on the marriage certificate. I thought I might not find her birth because of the date - her father was Samuel Baker, stone mason. I don't know where she was born, but she married my gt grandfather and he was from Birmingham. Thanks for those suggestions of the birth Geri, now which one shall I gamble and send off for!? Joanne

When sending for whichever cert you decide on, make sure to include the father's name as a checking point.........you will be refunded a part of the cost if the details don't correspond with the info at the GRO. Reg

Reg, it was an Arthur someone on the witness, so not Alfred, think I will have to get some more info before I go any further wit this one!
