Hi I think you will find that bastardy records were part of the parish records, and will now be held with those at the local record office close to the parish in which the order was made. You could try the West Yorkshire Archives Service, or look on the Mormon LDS website in their library catalogue to see if they have a microfilm of the Aberford Parish CHest materials, or vestry records, sometimes these include the bastardy records Hope this gives some clues Diane |

Can somebody tell me how I search A2A for Bastardy records please? It seems very complicated and am not sure which part to go to or what to put in. The name of the illegitimate child is Frederick Charles Tyzack, born in Aberford West Yorkshire in 1825. |
