I'm up the proverbial creek without a paddle! I'm trying to trace my maternal great grandfather, which is proving a nightmare. His name was JOHN HENRY FRYE. He was apparently born in France (exact location unknown) and moved to Dublin, Ireland where he changed his surname to FRY. He married a MARGARET McKENZIE whom I believe was born in Chester. I have no date of birth, although common sense would estimate it to be around 1880 as his first child was born in 1905. Any help on where/how to start would be greatly appreciated! |
