Have you tied the parish records, wills and probabte etc? The further back you go the harder it gets, some branches I have got as far back as the earliest parish registers mid 1500's, others stuck around 1820 because the parish records are in that area poorer. So yes it's certainly possible in most cases, but unfortunately not in every case.

Ive gotten to about 1788 on one part of my family but i dont know how to go about going any further? is it even possible? Thanks
