This Elizabeth Twigg was baptised in Bakewell. She could be the one, but no guarantee. You'll have to do further investigation. There will be witnesses names recorded. If these are BENNETTs or TWIGGs, they might help you to locate the family group. Marriages were usually in the bride's parish, so looking for baptisms there could provide clues. Have you looked for other TWIGG marriages in that parish? You may find BENNETT witnesses there. Sometimes you have to look at the much broader picture in order to find the information you need. Gwyn |

i've got a marriage of a william bennett and elizabeth twigg 1801 in derbyshire but no fathers names on the parish record.any advice on what to do now.don't even know births of them both |
