Scottish Marriages in 1940s - looking from Austral

Hi All Does anyone know how I can track down a Scottish marriage from the 1940s? I've been on Scotlands People and I can get older marriages, but nothing in the period I am looking for. I need to be able to look for this one marriage over the 'Net as I am searching from Australia - and it's a bit far to go to the records office. Thanks, Dave

Hey Dave Try this website http://scotfamtree.11.forumer*com/ They offer a look up service (called teir 3) which is very good value for money considering if you went to the GROS its self they'd charge you in excess of £13. They are also very helpful and and friendly, a great site to join if you have scottish relatives. Mhairi

Hi, can you give some details. I live in Scotland, but not near records office. However I might be able to help. You will not get any details on Scotlands people due to the date. Elizabeth
