Hi If he was born before 1901 you can use the census to search, a good site to sign up to is ancestry, it costs about £70 a year, but you get census, & the bmd indexes as well as alot of other info. Well worth the money each year. Also parish records for a baptism can reveal parents names. hope this helps sandra |

my granfather was born in aprilmay june qrt 03 in west bromwich how would i find out what his mother was called and what was his fathers name also have an olive sandalls born o7 march qrt have found a marrage for an oliver sandall 1864 b ut that woundt be her father would it is it possiable he is my great great grandfather |
